We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in spreadsheets and VBA to develop, automate, and maintain efficient data solutions. This role is well suited to someone with advanced Excel skills, who enjoys transforming complex or unstructured data into accurate insights and creating automation that significantly reduces manual effort.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Excel models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Build and optimize VBA macros to automate reporting, data validation, and recurring processes.
- Transform and analyze large datasets to deliver accurate business insights.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across spreadsheet solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient Excel-based solutions.
- Improve and maintain existing Excel and VBA tools.
Required Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Strong hands-on experience with VBA development and automation.
- Experience working with large datasets, data validation, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- SQL and relational databases.
- Power BI or other BI tools.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R.
- Experience integrating Excel with external data sources (APIs, CSV, databases).
Education
- Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
